maintenance required light flashed 10 times on start-up *searched*
When i first start my teg the maintenance required light flashed 10 times then goes out.. i have no CEL or anything, and it seems to run fine. It came on once before (oil change time) but it didn't flash.. any suggestions? I tried to find it in the haynes book, but no luck, i ordered a chilton book, but it won't be in till tuesday. Any help will be appreciated. thanks in advance

I just don't believe you searched. If you search archived topics for "maintenance AND light" in the titles of the topics, you will get 65 topics, and most of them answer your question.
To find the answer to a question like this, you should check the owner's manual first. As for service manuals, the Honda service manual is much better than those inferior generic service manuals like Haynes or Chilton. You can get the owner's manual and Honda service manual used (in the marketplace forums or on eBay) or new (from Helm).

i tried searching about 5 different maintenance, required, light word combinations and only returned 3 results, it may have not been under archived tho i'm sorry my searching skills aren't superior on HT, as for i do not have all day to sit and search. Thanks for the help anyways. I plan to call my local acura dealership monday and order a service manual. i don't think it's anything serious. but it has never flashed before

BTW, the one they sell at the dealership is the same one you can order on the Helm website.
