Now i've heard some things in my short time but i have never heard of a limited edition 4-door GSR??? A fellow employee is trying to sell her car and she wants 15,000 for it cause it's limited. The car has 56K on it never raped on the motor or suspension, and it has tan leather is a sort of gold maybe a little lighter gold paint job. Has anyone ever seen or heard of a limited edition GSR????

Never heard of a 'limited edition' GSR... it's either just plain GSR, or not at all. Maybe it's a GS, which used to be called Special Edition in older years, which is exactly like a GSR but with the non-vtec engine, but that's not rare and would be worth even less than a GSR.

well it has the GSR motor in it but the husband claims that it's limited because of the paint. I'm starting to think that maybe the previous owner had it repainted. I've never seen one that was a sandish/gold color

I think I might know what color you're talking about. But even if it is a rare OEM color, it's nothing special. If it's aftermarket paint, still nothing special. It's not going to add $5-10 grand onto the value of the car like they're hoping. You can just go buy a GSR from a non-retarded person, paint it ANY color you want, and have a GSR with your choice of brand new fresh paint for less money out of your pocket.

i agree with you i'm starting to think it was painted by the previous owner. Any other opinions/thoughts/input???

I own a 96 4-door GSR and have never seen a 'limited edition' GSR. Even as a 2-door. As quoted before, the Integra has been released as a 'Special Edition', never a Limited Edition.

Just to add to the pile...there is no "Limited Edition" GSR in either 2 or 4drs. If you have or can get the VIN, enter it into the Honda OwnerLink website and it'll tell you what color that GSR left Suzuka with... If you don't have OwnerLink, PM me the VIN and I'll look it up for you.

it sounds like the Titanium Metallic color of the 01 4 door gsr. don't know how many were actually made in this color but its super rare.

nope, like others have said there never was a limited edition gsr. its the same as any other gsr, just a rare color. titanium metallic is the only 'gold' color that came on the 94+ integra. it came with the tan leather interior.

I think the husband thinks it's "limited edition" because he has a rare color 4-DR gsr. If i'm not mistaken it's the 2k1 4 dr GSR that came in this goldish color and it's the only year they made that color for ANY integra, and it's only for the 4-dr GSR.

Its not a limited edition. It is a rare color though that only came on 2001 four door GSR's.

Yeap. Only in 2001 was this color available and I believe only in the GSR trim. Color is kind of nasty IMO. Just doesn't tie in with the car well...

what state are you in? because i've seen some window stickers that say GSR-L... L meaning leather, but maybe they've mistaken it for Limited.

i think by what he meantby limited is that its the last year of the integra line and that 4-door gs-r's are rare maybe thats y he used the word "limited."

Def not worth 15k. I paid 14k for a 01 GSR coupe wiith 46k miles, and that was from an Acura Dealership.
