GSR hp
I have a 97 gsr with header, catback exhaust, cam gears, and aem cai. I am looking to add some hp without boosting or spraying. Would you agree that this sounds ok: CTR cams, ITR valvesprings/retainers, vafc, and a good tune.

that will add, i would do skunk2 stage 1 cams over ctr/itr cams, and a skunk2 intake and u will be droppen some nice numbers, (skunk2 stage 1s are larger then ctr/itr cams and u don't have to change your valve trian) i had this set up on my car before i went to boost

Re: (gssr)
yea, make sure you get another intake manifold when you drop in new cams. ctrs should work with stock valvetrain as well as the sk2 stage 1. but upgrading valvetrain can be very useful. but it all depends on how much money you have and how much power you want to make. look into going with just the ctr intake cam if you are on a tight buget. how much power were you looking to get?

i dont wanna drop a lot of money, mostly cause i am in college right now, but i want to get a little more hp out of my car. i have started to look into skunk2 intake manifolds. then after that i may add the new cams.
