Integra ticks?

Integra ticks?
Not sure what the ticking noise im hearing from up under the dash. Its not the engine though? I only hear it when i press the gas pedal. The ticking speeds up according to how far i have the pedal depressed, then the ticking stops. typicaly at low speeds this happens this happens. I go to school to fix cars. this issue has everyone stumped. any brite Ideas Anyone?

I will take a shot. Could it be your speedo cable making noise? Mine would make a wierd noise before I lubed it. I have a 91 Integra though.

I will look at that. it sounds like something small wrapped around something that spins hitting somthing lightly. the sound dose not get louder just speeds ups and slows down or just dose not make noise at all. i hear it the most in the car driving at low speeds. ill check the speedo cable.

It was my purge sensor under the hood mounted on the fire wall just behind the intake manifold right next to my fuel filter!!!
