Idling issues, stuttering off a start issues, looking for help.
Just got off work, and as i was driving home my car started hesitating as i increased throttle. It'll still get to speed, but at about 3500-4000 rpms it'll kind of stutter.
Car is also backfiring a bit too, just a quick poof every so often. And at idle on a full stop it'll sometimes drop to 3-400 rpms.
Everything seems fine, no lights are on, and the engine is absolutely stock and untouched.
So does anyone have a clue to what could be wrong? This is my only car and if it breaks down i am totally screwed.
Car is a 1995 integra RS manaul transmission.
Update:
Changed spark plugs, wires, and cap and rotor.
Stereo system is resetting while i'm driving
Tested battery, and its seems fine
NO check engine light
Only hesistates/bogs after 15-20 mins
Been searching through old threads and i'm definate it's not a fuel problem because deck was cutting out. Checked all the main grounds i could find and they seem fine. Gears engage fine, and clutch pedal feels excatly the same so i'm ruling out a slipping clutch too. I've had an alternator fail on me before, but it usually gave signs, ie draining the battery or dimming lights while rpms fluctated.

Now the stereo is shutting off too randomly, could this just be a battery connection issue? Going to change cap and rotor today. Car seems to hesitate bad at 55 mph too.

Hmmm... if your alternator fails, you could get all of those symptoms as the battery slowly discharges.
Look for somewhere around 13.5VDC at an idle... 12.6VDC when the ignition is off (if fully charged).

absolutely. if there is a fault in the charging system, radio is always the first to shut down
check charging and battery voltage, as stated
also, make sure all connections are tight and clean

Would a failing alternator also cause the hesitation while accelerating too?

replaced the plugs, wires, cap and rotor and it still is giving problems. im about to replace the alternator, but i have a quick question. i was searching around and noticed someone said that the alternator can be replaced from uptop, by removing the brake master cylinder.
Anyone know if thats true?

also a friend said it might just be a bad fuel filter, since my car isn't throwing a CEL. But like i told him the radio player was restarting this morning. The car runs fine if i leave it for an hour or two, but when it gets warm it'll bog like crazy.

just check your battery and charging voltages. have you checked the battery terminals to be sure they are clean and tight? because a loose/corroded terminal will cause resistance and a low charging voltage
but to answer your question, yes. the alternator can be removed from the top. you may not even need to disconnect the lines. may be able to tweak the master if you just unbolt it from the booster. that way you won't need to bleed. just make sure not to lose the rubber seal that resides between the master and booster. and careful not to kink the lines

Fixed! Thanks for the help guys. Took it to a friend of mine who replaced the NEW spark plug wires with some old ones he had, and its worked. He told me they had given me the wrong ones anyways.
Also polished up my battery terminals and posts, i mean literally polished them. i just wiped them down, but he went at it with sand paper and towels.
Car runs fine, seems to hesistate still at highway speeds, just a tad, but that might just be my overimagination getting the best of me.
