I think my integra keeps over heating..
I have a 1992 Acura integra Ls automatic. When I start it in the morning(when it's cool outside) the car starts up fine and runs good. But as the day progresses and it gets warmer(around low 90s) the car starts to act weird. What I mean by weird is that when I try to start the car after I've been driving and everything, the car starts and slowly dies and shuts down. The electrics are still on but the car is off. I'll usually try to start it again but give it some gas this time so it doesn't die. If it does stay on it runs well like nothing is wrong. I really would like to know what it Could be and how to fix it as it is a big inconvenience something's when I need to go somewhere. The temp gauge indicates that the car is not overheating. I've been told that when the interior gets hot the main relay may not work properly but then I can not confirm anything wrong with the car. Please if you have any info I'd really appreciate it. Wonder if anyone else has had this problem before?

A relay doesn't work that way.... A relay is just a switch....
Have you ever had the car cooling system service?? Serviced-(coolant, thermostat, etc)

It could definitely be the main relay. Next time it won't start when its hot turn the key off, then to on (ign 2) and listen to see if you can hear the fuel pump prime. If not then replace the main relay. They can also be repaired by resoldering the contacts if you wanted to save some money.
