i have no spark and am at a loss. any ideas?
i took a high speed to my headlights and got compound on my engine, went to spray the engine off and then the car got a bad miss, so i figured i just got some water in the distributor cap or something. i replace the rotor button and cap with AAP parts, and the car would not even start. so i swapped the old cap back and still nothing, so i figured it was the rotor button. i took it back to aap, and got a new one straight from acura, and still nothing. it just doesnt make sense. if the problem wasnt the rotor button, the car should still at least start because it ran before with the old button. any ideas? any help is much appreciated.

yeah that makes sense but i dont see why it was running before i changed the rotor button. BUT i will just get a new distributor. the car has 215k miles on it, rebuilt motor but the guy that had it before me was little questionable so he probably didnt swap it out.
