How much would it cost to have itr pistons installed?
I wanna put itr pistons in my gsr cause mine is burning oil like hell and i think the rings are shot, my question is how much would the average shop charge to do this?

at least $500 - $1000.. depending on the shop. and that's just labor.. parts would cost you more. you'd be better off with ctr pistons or just replace your rings

well if it's burning oil.. then obviously it's your oil ring one one or more of your pistons. the best way for the cheapest is to do it yourself..
you need to buy a set of 4 oil rings, brand new headbolts, a metric ratchet set, spanner wrench, and harmonic balancer remover.. but if you are not familiar with taking an engine longblock apart, then get your rings replaced by a local shop, they'd probably charge you like $300 - $500, and the rings are cheap. they go for about $50 a set.
