how much tranny fluid in b18b1? three quarts to much?
I have searched for this information and I havent had much luck.
I recently got an lsd put in my b-series transmission and everything bolted up. Anyways I put 3 quarts of transmission fluid in and more then a half of quart leaked out of the axles/axles seals. The axle seals are brand new and we double checked the axles to make sure they where in all the way. After that I put less then a half qaurt in and it only leaked out of the driver side. The car is on jack stands on a gravel driveway.
I am fairy new to hondas all information is appreciated

i'm pretty sure that your car only takes 2.5 quarts of fluid. i don't know and understand why it's leaking from the driver side. how did you fill up the tranny? is your driveway flat?

no matter how much fluid you put in it should only come out of the fill hole. the left and right axle seals are diff. make sure you put them in the right sides.

Re: (blazinsii)
sorry to jack the thread, but how do you check the transmission fluid? when the engine is hot and running or when the engine is hot and off?
