i have a 94 ls and if the driver or passenger windows are cracked they rattle to no end.does anyone else have this problem or know a fix for this.i know acura has a tsb but no recall.help please

my windows rattle when im putting them up, not when they are open just when i put them up......i dont know what it is though, maybe it get a little out of the track at certin points

i believe there's a rubber mount in the door that comes loose over time. its been posted here in the past. you'll have to take off the door panel to fix it. i've never done it, too lazy so i just put up w/ the rattle.

i despise those rattles. i would LOVE to know how to fix it. I didn't see any rubber that looked out of place though.

mine still rattle all the way down.i have pulled the the door panels and dont see anything.it sounds to me like the little"button" on the window that slides in the track is loose i may yank the glass out tomorrow for a closer look

actually.. i fix mine all the time. unfortunately, the rattle comes back after awhile everytime i open and close the window. sometimes the bolts on the tracks get loose.. or the rubber trim gets pulled down when you move the window all way down. even if i pull the trim back up... it still gets pulled back down.

i have tried to fix this problem before. pull off the door panel and stick your hand inside by the window track near the back of the door. if there is a rubber piece sticking down then slide it back onto the track. i've done this before but the rubber just slid down again so you might wanna try sticking it in place with glue. that helped a bit but i also tried tightening the motor bolts. they become loose over time also. i've done this and it helped but i'm too lazy to do it again so i'm just going to take it to the dealer. good luck

Its a recall for 95', partially open window rattles, probably 94' too. You can order the new parts to fix the rattle from your local Acura dealer. You just replace the vertical guides on the rear side of the window.

If I crack the window to vent heat while I'm parked, it will rattle when I close the door. Once it gets to about halfway down, it doesn't rattle anymore.

My driver side rattles as well any info would be nice on this matter.

Only under warranty, which has past for all of us. Mike K at Naples Acura hooked me up but I don't remember the price. The part is not the same as the original, its corrected so it doesn't rattle. Installation is simple, shouldn't take you more than 10-15 minutes. Definatley worth the sanity, that rattle is annoying as hell.

Just take your door panel off and tighten everything up inside where the guide is held. Then make sure your rubber piece has not slid off. Glue or some other type of adhesive would help keep it in place. Thats all you should need to do unless your rail is messed up. Then you will have to replace that.

if the rubber piece is not at th ebottom of the track.. stick your hand inside the door and down it should be there.. they come completeley out sometimes ive fixed a few differnt tegs already

JDM integras have the same problem, when i open my window a few inchs it rattles like hell, same with passenger window, but i figured that it was the glass rattling on the metal pillar as there doesnt seem to be any plastic/rubber coating on it, i've tried to put thin strips of rubber between the glass and the frame but the window then sticks when going up again, so i've had to live with it. if i put the window half way or full way down theres no rattle, except when its full way down and i open/close the door.

I have the same problem with the window rattling on the driver-side. If I don't roll the window all the way down, it will rattle. But I've heard that is common as the window sticking when trying to roll it up or down.

THE RUBBER INSERT THAT GOES IN THE METAL TRACK IS THERE!!!!!! STICK YOUR HAND ALL THE WAY TO BOTOMM OF THE DOOR.. IT FELL OFF!!!! SEARCH AND YOU WILL FIND!!!!
