Help - Timing Belt Tensioner Bolt Stripped
Alright, I'm really close to gettin my motor up and running until, the timing belt tensioner bolt would not come up, resulting in almost stripping it, what should I do to get it out? Im considering some honda-bond, and then honda-bond the socket to whats left of the bolt, any ideas or anything to help,
Im trying to get the old one out, and the new one in,
thanks guys

Re: Help - Timing Belt Tensioner Bolt Stripped (jtintegra)
The twist sockets from snapon are the best thing ever http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog...talog I think sears makes a similar product. They pull themselves onto the bolt as you try to loosen it. I had a stripped tensioner on my integra and had been struggling with it for hours. One of these took it out instantly.

I doubt that will work unless the motor is out of the car, as the frame rail is probably in the way.
