Default help melted wires

working on my tuck and when i hooked my battery up i melted some wires...... i have about 2, what i thought were grounds, grounded together along with my fog light relay. the two wires are 1. power steering pressure switch 2. brake fluid level switch. im pretty sure the brake fluid level is the cause of my prob. its a black with red dot wire, there was also one other wire, same in color, the goes into a yellow connecter(SRS) under the dash the burt up some to... i have looked at wiring schmatics and they all look like grouns but the brake fluid level diagram has the black wire and goes to a dotted outline box titled j/c ? what does it mean by j/c.... could the j/c be the yellow connecter under the dash?

Also i dont have my power steering hooked up anymore.... can i just remove the plug and wires that plug into the hard line?

if you guys need pictures i can take some tomorrow!!

The brake fluid level switch is a grounding switch, [supplies a ground when brake fluid level is low] although my wiring diagram, and my 94 Integra show the wire as a green/red lead.

The same goes for the PSPS, it is a grounding switch, with a black ground lead for input and a green lead for the output going to the ECU/ECM the only black/"red" lead I see in my wiring diagram is the the output from ECU/ECM to the A/C compressor clutch relay.

Is your engine bay harness also a "JDM"???? 94

it uses the stock harness from my integra so i think its all usdm, also the usdm ecu, though i do have the jdm one if i ever needed. the two black leads, the one from the PSPS and the Bake Fluid Switch were do they go. im looking at haynes and it shows the PSPS goes to ground and the BFLS says it goes it the J/C then to ground?

when i was talking about that burnt up wire under the dash that plugged into what i thought was the srs... thats not it. its like a yellow plug thats is spliced into a white thick wire that runs to the what looks like the ignition.... i was thinking maybe the white wire that comes off of the under hood fuse box? im thinking its the electrical load detector thats only on the US model cars. do you (FCM) or anyone else have info on this?

FCM- you seem to know alot about wiring, i have seen many of your post to other people problems and just wanted to say thank you for your time

The PSPS black lead goes to chassis ground the green lead goes to the ECU/ECM, [PSP SW]

The BFLS black lead goes to chassis ground the green/red lead goes to under dash fuse box and then to hand brake warning light.

The thick white lead going to ign. switch is the ign. switch power lead, [it will be fused at the engine bay fuse box] it should have no "plugs" on it, can you take a pic of the yellow "plug"/ 94

you know those plastic plugs that have the metal inserts that you can smash in and splice together two separate wires.... well thats it. the other wire coming out was a black with red dot, whenever i started my tuck i'm pretty sure that wire wasn't connected to anything but it definitely wasn't burt up

Scotch Lock, if you have not already, remove it, you will have to check the white lead for damage, Scotch Locks and "T" taps will cut through strands of the wire they are connected to. 94
