i was in the process of removing my camshafts this morning to replace my head gasket and when i was taking the cam holders or girdles off a few of the bolts broke off into the head. what can i do about this besides take it to a shop and get them taken out? also do i need to buy specific bolts to replace or any bolt that is the right length will be OK? thanks oh bty B18a1 91 Integra LS

Bump? Anyone? I got the head off today! has anyone else had the same problem? thanks in advance

You could try easy out I think that is what it call and drill the broken bolt and use the easy out to reverese drill it out. But it a hard *** bolt to drill I did my and I broke 3 bolt and it take me 2 and a half hours and 7 drill bit too take 2 out and the 3rd I have to take it to a machine shop and they charge me 36 dallor for a broken bolt to take it out.

anyone on here have and extra ls head laying around they wouldnt mind parting with....gotta be a lot of ls/vtec's around with their old LS head still laying in the garage(for a reasonable price???) thanks for the help though. I am gonna try that tommorow.
