Gen3 JDM city lights - Need wiring diagram
On the JDM head lights. My body man wiried up my city lights with my high beams and I need a wirring diagram that goes to a switch. I have the OEM console switch but I need the harness for it. I heard that It's the same harness that's inside the door forgot wich one. Anyway I need a wiring diagram so I can re-route the wires to my city light.

There is no OEM switch for city lights. They just turn on with the first click of the headlight switch. I'm not sure what you mean by a wiring diagram. There is only a positive and a ground wire for each light.

Just tap the wire into the low beam? I was going to use the switch to turn on and off the city lights (yellow corner lights).

Those should be wired with a relay and a separate switch.

Any relay switch will work?
I have the OEM console switch but I don't have the wire harness for it. I been looking for that harness for a few years and can't locate one.

Any standard automotive 12V SPST relay will work, such as this one from Radio Shack: http://www.radioshack.com/prod...earch
I'd have to take a look at the switch to determine how it should be wired, but you should be able to use it along with the standard relay and simply run your own wiring. There isn't much wiring involved, but if you're not that familiar with it, it might just look a bit complicated until you get the idea. Here's a decent diagram that I borrowed:

I can read diagrams with no problem.
I was talking to one of my Audio guys and he said he have to open the switch up and hard wire it with out using the harness. I finally locate one over the weekend in Japan. I'm waiting for it to arrive (crossing fingers). This is what the switch look like.

That looks like a pretty basic switch, so I don't see why it would need to be opened up or modified. It looks to me like the three wires would simply be a ground, the input from the parking lights (or whichever source you choose to use), and the output to the relay. The only issue would be finding out which wire is which, and that should be quite easy using a multi-tester.

I have the switch now but I could not find the wire harness for it any where. That was the reasson that my audio guy was going to open it up and hard wire it. I just bought another switch with the harness this time out in Japan and I'm sitting back and waiting for the shipment to arrive. This way it will save me time and the hassle. I can just wire it up the correct way instead of modifing the switch.
