the stock 350z and g35 muffler will not fit an Acura or Honda, I have the 04 350z and G35 muffler in my garage. The muffler is just a big fat resonator with two muffler tips coming out of it. There is no way it will fit, I thought of it too thats why I traded my pocket bike for it in the first place and the problem came out clear. I dont know about the newer years if the mufflers came out single individual mufflers instead of the single, dual tip, muffler.

Wow, is that how it works?? Anyone know where I can get a WRX muffler?
Seriously OP .. rethink what you posted, and then think about it some more.

you should see the local street races over here in kent. i've seen some weird stuff. motorcycle exhaust on a crx, stock da muffler on a dc in the stock da position. then there was this one guy that took a stock da muffler and "angled" it

LMAO! There always has to be a thread like this every couple of months. "If I put flow masters on my integra, will it sound like a dodge hemi?" LOL Our cars will sound like *** regardless of what we use as an exhaust.

hmm my exhuast is free flowing and quiet...
but the nissan 3.5 motor is pretty ill.
especially with bolt ons and a good tune!
and yes the type of motor will determine the type of sound coming out of the exhaust.

Re: (be18see1)
It really is pretty rediculous to think that a that a muffler from a G35 would make any car other than the G35 sound the same. The VQ35 is just a badass motor.
I`ve had thoughts though about putting all kinds of exhausts on different cars just to see what they sound like. Like some big ricey cannons on a Trans-Am or Mustang GT.
It would be cool to hear all the differnt combinations.

Re: (yc_dc4mar)
we have 1.8l 4cylinders. (4 pistons in line.)
g35,350z = 3.5l v6 (6 pistons aligned in v shape)
wrx=2.5(?)L turbo, boxer engine. (4 pistons are horizontal, 2 on each side)
[correct me if i am wrong.]
impossible to get the same sound.
who cares about sound! i thought top speed/acceleration/reliability is all that matters.

Re: (steveo135)
if u dont want ur car to sound like a 4 cylinder, then dont drive a 4 cylinder car! geeze, be proud of wat u got..if u dont like ur high pitched exhaust note, then leave it alone n dont make any noise at all

Re: (yc_dc4mar)
Has anyone given the thought of the Toyota Matrix exhaust. Its laid out exactly like the DA....and it has a bigger exhaust tip...AND its stock...so it should be legal...I'd be curious to try it if anyone has one..(like that's going to happen )
