So guys my girlfriend has convinced me to buy her a 4 door Integra. We both have always loved hondas... just moved away from them years ago when car theft was an all time high between 2002-2007. Back then I had a simple method of removable steering wheel, fuel pump kill switch hidden and a paging alarm. Sometimes, if it was a real bad area I would take my ECU and main relay with me. Now that its been 10 years or so Im sure those tactics have been replaced with better or have security systems gotten better?

Help me out here guys. What are current standards to protect out investments?

Pretty sure it's still the usual..

Alarm + sensors + back up battery and a good installation.

I have a sedan myself and all I have is a basic alarm system and a kill switch.
