driver door lock wont unlock or lock from the outside
I just got an integra and the driver door keyhole won't budge when I try to turn it with the key. I just bought it and the dude said that it is because of the clifford alarm, which I dont think is right. Sometimes when I unlock or lock the door from the inside, the lock doesnt turn all the way open or closed. Please help.

Re: driver door lock wont unlock or lock from the outside (DC_craze)
if the solenoid clicks when you press the pwr lock button from the inside and it has trouble moving, it's probably a latch thats broken behind the door panel. check to see if the rod is connecting from the button to the door lock, and if it isnt, re-attatch it. it should drop right in... unless the rod or plastic pieces are broken in which case you can steal another one from a junkyard and replace it like new. those things have a tendancy to break evey once in a while anyway.... kids fiddling with the locks or whatever could have broken it. idk check it out and update us plz
edit: oh and they key works for the passenger side? if the key doesnt work for either side, i highly doubt your locks are the problem.... if you're having problems with BOTH sides then he most likely replaced the ignition, her go a new key was made for the new ignition and he didnt give you the door key, just the ignition key. which sucks. either find his ***, demand that he give you the proper key, and if he doesnt give it back, insert your current key between your index finger and middle finger (pointing out), clench your fist, and punch him between the eyes. ouch.
of course if none of this applies, then i've just wasted a whole lot of time typing a useless paragraph that won't really help you. oh well im at work getting paid for it anyway lol
