LS/VTEC problems HELP
i have a 90 DA with an ls/vtec p30 pistons pr3 head gsr cam shaft ..everytime i start my car up it stays on idle but when the temp goes up my RPM's rev up and down and it will turn off ? it only does it when the temp goes and warms up not when its cold i dont have overheating problems or nothing no check engine none of that **** its just that ?
another problem its not hitting VTEC ?

It's normal for the car to idle higher when it first starts up. Upon initial startup is it idling really really high? Play around with your idle adj screw...

whats up ur problems sound like my friends when we did a motor swap in an integra it kept idling up n down when it warmed up check intake manifold thats what was wrong with his if u got time check out the topic i posted n see if u can tell me something its the topic bout the 89 integra

If your idle is jumping up and down 9 times out of 10 its a vacuum leak or a dirty iacv, clean that, check for leaks and you will probably find your problem.

yeah probly a vacuum leak on the idle sensor if u still have the stock intake manifold it has a little idle sensor. its attached to the throttle cable and throttle body.

if you know anyone that has a smoke machine, try plugging it up, it will show you exasctly where your vaccum leak is, if indeed you have one. otherwise check your iacv.

i think i figured urs out i worked on mine all day cleaning the intake with some cleaner put it all back to gether n it was idling up n down when it warmed up at bout 1000-1500rpms i pulled my main fuse thats on my battery to reset the (programed feul injection) hit me back if u got a chance take a look at what i posted about my 89 integra with a b16

Have you tried any of the suggestions?
Idle screw? Brake cleaner to clean out IACV? Feel for leaks/fog machine for leaks on vacuum hoses? Reset ECU? Timing?
More time under the hood > more time on the internet
