DC JDM FOGS
well um im thinking about changing my high beam light bulb to a lower watt...cuz u know the stock one are like 65W and the low beam are 55W...so im thinking about putting 45W light bulb into the high beams...just so it wont be as bright....wat im trying to do is im gonna make it shine out yellow, like a sort of jdm style but with the usdm front end...so my question is that will it be legal for me to do that and turn them on when i turn on my regular low beam???because it will be a lower watt light bulb now, but just not sure it its illegal to do that..i dont really need my high beam anyway..so a little help guys??

I was always under the impression that high beams were to help people see better when there were no vehicles in the immediate area. I'm pretty sure it is illegal to flash people for passing purposes, especially if it is going to impare their vision.

Dude, both of you are wrong. Flashing high beam is for racing purposes only, DUH.

Re: (SHOMA169)
You need to get a 9006 bulb and trim the center tab in half then where the rubber o-ring is on the base of the bulb you need to trim that down to the bare metal of the base of the bulb. you'll need a dremmel for that part. I have yellow bulbs in my highbeam and had them like that for years now with no problems aside from the bulb burning out.

I'm in QB everyday and I rock my high 75% of the time and I never been pulled over for that. But then again if you're riding down Steinway then the cops from the 114 are always hiding in between the cars a jump out in front of you to pull you over. Astoria cops are asses let alone all of them from QB. I never have prblems with cops in the BX, BK, Manhattan even Yonkers.

i drive around with both my high beams and low beams on. i use VANS yellow fog spray and ive never been pulled over. ive even went against a police officer and wen i was making a right turn, he just looked at my car but he didnt really care. and im fromt longbeach so yeah what does that tell u. cops over here are big asses, i have to use my high beams because my low beams are pretty light, i hate it. sometimes i see normal drivers with stock integras drive with highbeams on alsoso idunno its on u.

difference between DA fog and this mod is that the DA has glare guards/shrouds and point down to the immediate road ahead.
High beams are unrestricted.
i have yellow fogs and love how it transitions from yellow to white on the road.
