DB2 attempt #2
well after finding damage on the last db2 and wanting to start a business that never happened, i am back with my now 4th try lol.. got myself another 1993 GSR, this one is 100% original, 1 owner car out of colorado with only 155k miles on it and a MINTY INTERIOR! it does have a few rust spots but i am planning on getting them fixed and the car repainted in the oem AGP color. previous owner put black over the green on the moldings, not sure why! lol here is some crappy cell phone pics for now

Re: DB2 attempt #2
due to a new goal thats popped up, and thats being debt free minus my tlx and mortgage. i stored the car away, lowered the insurance, and now she will just sit while i search for some parts and pay stuff off. sold my hayabusa today so that made a BIG cut in the mtn of debt i accrewed since i bought my house last year.
also grabbed a personal box as my birthday present which is next week on the 11th

Re: DB2 attempt #2
How much for that head? Is that off the last db2?
Glad to see you back in another 2nd gen and that it seems like you're approaching this one with more patience than the previous cars. Like many of us you can't seem to stay away for too long, I think you just need to hang onto this one through the tough times. Definitely a super clean platform to start with and could be easily restored to completely OEM specs or easily tastefully modded without having to do a ton of repairing.
I have to ask though, was that you who created the first thread about this car?

Re: DB2 attempt #2
found structural damage in the front end. where it was crashed and they tried to straighten it back out, car had also been t boned as well.. so it wasn't worth it to me to continue with that project..
this one should be pretty nice when done. and yea that idiot who got it for his teenage daughter was a total tool bag. i'm glad i got the car off his hands, and didn't have to pay the bullshit price the dealership he tried to sell it on consignment at.

While the car may be physically legit, the story behind it sounds like ducktales. But whatever the case, just make sure not to overtighten the rear wiper delete plug on this one.

Re: DB2 attempt #2
the whole consignment thing wasn't as legit as you think. they are friends. i have even done it myself. the car was not registered when i got it, it was registered to the auction house. it also did not sale from the dealership he had it sitting at, i found the car locally and bought it from that douche who made the post about it previously. which was never even registered to him. just the auction house

decided next thing will be paint, so when i upgrade exhaust and suspension no risk of over spray, so ordered the JDP OE1 lip today so it can be paint matched with the carbon hiro replica as well..
