Super Lap BattlexGlobal Time Attack 2016 Day 2
Date: November 11, 2016
Driver: John Lindeman - Corner Speed Tuning
Organization: Super Lap Battle/ Global Time Attack
Track/ Configuration: Buttonwillow 13CW
Skill Level: Advanced
Class: Street FWD
Best time of the day: 2:07.708
After fighting with tire pressures on day 1 and still trying to figure them out on day 2 we got them dialed in a bit better. We also changed the sway bar settings to full stiff for better rear rotation. John came in 4th place with his 2:07.708. Lots of records were broken this day congrats to everyone!!

Re: D3300 - DC2 Race Car Build
I just read through this whole build, great progress!
I too have a '98 GSR, and an '08 Si. Your Integra seems like a really fun car to drive on track. Keep up the great work

HFF Challenge Rd. 9 - Buttonwillow 13CW - 2:12.116
December 17, 2016
Driver: Nicole Cervantes
Car: 1996 Acura Integra GSR
Organization: Speedventures.com/ HFFchallenge.com
Track/ Configuration: Buttonwillow 13CW
Skill Level: Advance
Class: Street
First time of the day: 2:15.817
Final Time of the day: 2:12.116
The day started out with my idle control valve taking a dump right when i got to the track. Ended up unplugging it and having the annoying check engine light on all day but after we figured that out the day went really smooth. My goal time i set for myself was a 2:10. I got pretty close with my 2:12. In my video towards the end my tires were giving out and i had thought i was going to have a slow time because i did mow the dirt for a bit and didn't want to hold the person up that was behind me so i let him pass on the front straight. I knew i was going to slow WAY down due to my tires getting really greasy. Well that lap ended up being my fastest lap so i possibly could of had a potential faster time. Since i was still on the same setup that we took to GTA/SLB i got to drive with the RE71R's which are a great tire, i just wish they would of lasted a bit longer. I know there is a lot of room for improvement and can't wait to get back out again. I ended up getting 2nd Place for this event, 3rd place overall for the season. See you guys in 2017
The pits
pesky check engine light!!%#^* lol
second session of the day 2:15.817
the pits with most of the HFF Challenge competitors
third session of the day 2:12.116 which put me in 2nd place for the event
a little rear action off the ground..
I took 3rd place overall in Street Class
I also picked up one of my trophy's still waiting for the other two but i am really loving the track cutouts it looks so good!!

Very fortunate to have such great organizers out here that make it possible for us, it is a big crowed of us which makes it fun! Thank you for all of the kind comments! I will hopefully have some updates in the next few weeks of my winter refresh and my season opener.

2017 HFF Challenge Rd.1 - Buttonwillow 13CW - 2:13.008

Track/ Configuration: Buttonwillow 13CW

Class: Street
First time of the day: 2:14.615
Final Time of the day: 2:13.008
First event of the season and it was freaking fun and epic as usual! The day started gloomy, misting rain, winds and sunny all at the same time. I only took my camera out for the first session due to the conditions it was probably the only time i could of recorded. I also just installed a new Long Acre rear view mirror which where i usually put my camera mount it was in the way. So i had to put my cam outside the car so sorry ahead of time for all the wind noise! I wanted some footage from this event. So for my final time of the day i hit a new PB 2:13.008 on my old hankook rs3's, last time i drove on rs3's here i hit a 2:15. I got really close to my PB on the RE71R's which was a 2:12. Just like to add i am really loving being back on RS3's i can be out on the track longer and the tires will stick! I wanted to push it a little more but i was running into braking problems, possibly warped rotors. I am thinking about doing a brake upgrade before my next event so stay tuned. By the way sorry for the lack of on track pictures it was too windy to do anything, couldn't even stand up with out getting almost knocked over. Lots of people got new PB's and some ran into issues but all in all it was so much fun! I came in 7th place for street class.

Ghostwerks - MFactory helical limited slip differential install
2017 refresh consisted of pulling out my transmission and taking it to my good friend James at Ghostwerks! I wanted to get an LSD put in and decided to go with a MFactory helical limited slip differential. The feeling of my LSD is very similar to my FA5 civic LSD. You can definitely feel it doing its job in the corners, the grogginess is gone and you can feel it wanting to push instead of trying to pull the weight through the corners. Big noticeable difference is through the buttonhook and sweeper at Buttonwillow. Big THANKS to James at Ghostwerks!!!
Parts, parts and more parts
Before
MFactory Helical LSD
Everything all buttoned up
Ready to be installed back into my race car!
My next HFF challenge is at the end of April, i will be driving at Spring Mountain which is located in Nevada. This will be my first time driving that track so stay tuned for those updates!
