<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by DRAG lll INTEGRA &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">call some shops man</TD></TR></TABLE>i called the dealer they want 90 an hour to look at it. if it is the timing then its a minimum 3 hour job. i was posting here to see if anyone knew it because they had to do it. i think calling shops is the obvious. my whole point in posting was to see if anyone can tell me without me calling shops and getting a run-around from them.

just buy a timing gun point it at the crank and you'll have to turn the distributor to get the timing correct

is it the timming with the gun you are talking about
or
checking if the timming points are correct crank and cam gears...

if you are talking about the adjusting just the timming
a digital gun will cost you under $80...
is pretty simple hook it up place the clip in the tester plug
and point move distributor as necessary..

noob question, is timing just timing. For ex. is the distributor for timing the spark, and cam gears for adjusting the cam timing, can you do both, like i always here to go + 2degrees, is that with the cam gears, distributor, or both. Some one give me a lesson on timing please! thanks a lot
