how can you tell a JDM Type R motor vs. a JDM SiR-G motor? Don't they both say B18C?

USDM says B18C1
JDM says B18C (as does the JDM ITR)

I know that USDM = B18C1. According to you, someone with a JDM SiR-G motor with B18C stamped on the motor could just put on a red valve cover and say its a JDM ITR motor, right? Is there some way to tell a JDM ITR motor from a JDM SiR-G motor with a red valve cover?

A JDM B18C will also have P72 stamped in numerous p[laces on the head, inlet manifold etc etc, a JDM ITR B18c will be stamped P30 on the head, and will not have a dual runner inlet manifold

IMHO easiest and fastest way would be to spot the coolant inlet to the head, if in front SiRG, if under dizzy itR
