click/clunk coming from tranny when depressing clutch pedal
ok when im depressing the clutch pedal, there is a click. pretty loud, and i can sorta feel it in my foot. i had a friend press/depress the clutch while i listened around the clutch m/c and it turns out its coming from the tranny. any one have any idea what it could be? new clutch time? is it something worse? any help is appreciated

I believe we might have the same problem, but I'm not completely sure. Mine sounds just like what you explained, but it cant need a new clutch, cause I just replaced mine. Sorry, cant help but eliminate that.

Re: click/clunk coming from tranny when depressing clutch pedal (kevpotts)
Possible clutch disc, the springs on the disc sometimes get loose and cause strange binding and noise issues between the disc and pressure plate. As they progress, the springs can fall between the pressure plate and disc and cause problems with how it operates (ie. it doesnt operate!). Usually starts as an intermitant problem and gets worse.
