Please help me identify this sound.
Just got myself a 97 Integra LS. Whenever I start the car, I hear a buzzing sound that sounds almost like an electric pump and it stops after a few seconds. It sounds like it's coming from the passenger side of the engine bay.
Any ideas?

That is normal operation, don't worry about it.
If you start the car and DON'T hear the sound, or if you hear it make the sound while driving normally, then you should be worried.

From what i've read this is a common noise for OBD1 cars (92-95). This noise comes from the ABS pump, theres nothing to worry about.

It should, I read that somewhere though, I'm not sure how accurate it is. Have someone start your car. If the nosie is coming from the ABS, problem solved.
