stay away from cheap parts, you will regret it, i made that mistake with my last car. if you want cheap, weight reduction is free, stay away from heavy sub boxes, take anything out that you don't care about, back seats, carpet, panels, ect. decide before you start modding, do you want to go turbo, super, or n/a, forced induction is a lot cheaper in the long run, but nothing beats all motor, what is better than handing a v8 mustang their *** with an all motor four banger, well i can think of a few but it still ranks up there. and to remove the resonator box, jack the car up, take the spash gaurd off the bottom, and when you look up there is a large, probably square box under the intake, it is held on with a couple bolts, remove them and it simply slides out.

no theres a box in the passenger side wheel well that restricts alot of air flow to the stock intake, ill post a pic of one tomm.

^ removing the top of the airbox would be fine.
Go to g2ic.com and check the teg tips on how to take out the airbox, its on the right hand side of the car right infront of the tire in the fender.

so all u have to do is take the bottom of the box or top of the box...out...and i dont wanna take my front bumper off to do this

ya i took the top of the air box off and i can really hear the vtec now. I think ill leave it like that instead of cai for now. But there aint that much difference performace wise, if at any at all.
