Default car wont start at random times.

Hey guys so I'm having a problem with my 98 Integra. there are times where I can turn on the car perfectly with the key and there are times where I can't. I'd had the problem for a while now but recently I'd replace my battery ground and the rest of my ground cables and the car worked fine for about a week or so and then I'd started having the same problem. I'd checked my battery, I'd replace my starter, it was under warranty... and Like I said have new ground cables.I'd ran some test on the ignition switch and it turn out fine. When I unplug the connector to the starter solenoid and check for voltage at the cable when trying to start the car I get 12.30 volts but when I plug in and try to start the car I only get 5 volts. I also did a continuity test on the ignition switch and it came out fine. If I jump a wire from the battery to the starter I can turn the car on. The grounds that I have are from battery to chassis, tranny to chassis, I also tried tranny to battery ground, and valve cover to chassis. The Times the car doesn't start I hear is a click coming from the starter. One thing I wanna mention. The car was originally an automatic, it was coverted by the previous owner so there's no neutrol safety switch and I also don't think there's a starter relay. I'm getting very frostrated I'd try just about everything and nothing. Any ideas or sugestions would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

You're gonna have to track down where those 2 black wires and make sure they aren't making contact with anything else other then themselves. But I have a feeling your issue is at the ignition switch if its not even cranking.

I have warranty on the starter from AutoZone. What I find weird is that it's a new starter.

When the person who did the auto to 5spd swap he has to make some changes to the auto shifter plugs to start the car. You're gonna have to pull the center console out and see for yourself, or track those wires down.

Yes. I pulled the console out and notice that the two black wires that you gotta jumped are only twisted together and wrapped with electrical tape. I also notice that there was a third wire twisted with the other two black wires. Its a skinny green and white wire, any idea for what that wire is for? There's another two wires twisted together, I believe it's for the clutch safety switch. Its a pinkish wire with a black wire.

What's the green and white wire for?
