Default PCV line pinching?

The hose running from the IM to the PCV seems to be making a weird whistle sound when I turn the car on. It seems that the air get sucked out of the line and makes the hose flat (like nothing can pass by). What can be causeing this problem and how can I fix it?

I tired another hose but once i hit the gas it started to bog and want to turn off. TIA

you've already answered your question. that hose it way too soft for the vacuum the manifold is pulling in. it's pinching closed and not drawing pressure out of your crankcase. the oem hose is a hard line that won't collapse. you need that. and that goes for any other soft pcv hoses. and check to see if the valve is bad or not. if not, don't replace it.

I've tired another hose, which was thicker and it didn't make that screaming sound but when I hit the gas pedal the car bogged. Do I need it OEM from Honda if so what is the part number I've looked but I can't seem to find it.

About the PCV do I just pull it off?

I don't even see a PCV valve in your picture. You need one to make the car run properly even though it seems like a trivial item. Also as previously mentioned, you need the proper type of hose for this situation. Good luck!

The part that connects to the black box is usually not the valve itself, but in the case of the GSR it may be I suppose. Usually most Hondas have the part that connects to the black box and the actual PCV valve farther up on the vacuum line.

On all VTEC and OBD-1 non-VTEC Integras, the PCV valve fits directly into the top of the black breather box on the back of the block. OBD-2 non-VTEC Integras had the PCV valve fitting directly into the valve cover.

i thought on obd1 non-tec integra the PCV valve fits in the circle thats on you intake manifold that is closer to where the manifold meets the head..... the hose goes from the intake manifold chamber to the pcv valve then another hose goes straight down to the crankcase breather box

Correction: The PCV valve fits on the Intake Manifold runner on non-vtec OBD0 & OBD1.

oops my bad. I just knew the PCV wasn't on the valve cover for OBD1 B18B1 engines.
