Default A/C clearance... Fractions of an inch.

Is there a way to adjust how the a/c compressor sits? I went through and measured off what I need to mount my T3 and manifold and it looks like I'm fractions of an inch of clearing. The A/C compressor sits too high. So I would like to mount it a bit lower.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Kham.

Ps: I'm in a 98 Teg RS, if that helps.

Make your own bracket, use a smaller belt.

I was hoping for something less drastic. But I do see how it would work that way. Thanks for the suggestion.

Kham.

can you mount the turbo the other way? so the downpipe can face the a/c compressor? Most a/c compatible turbo kits have the turbo compressor facing the passenger side

I've already bought the down pipe. It happens to be configured this way. I know what you are referring to. I don't know how to modify the downpipe to be able to flip the turbo. I bought one of those ssautochrome 2.5" to 3" down pipes with flexpipe.
