If both heads are going to be built then of course the vtec head would be better.

WTF are you guys talking about!!!!!!!!!

Dude if you "build" your LS head(P&P,Cams, valves,Springs,Etc.) it will be the same or better(depending on how much of the pre mentioned you do) than a GSR head except for the comp.(can be changed by milling the head) and it will be a little less gas efficient due to lack of smaller gas saver cam lobs

It may be easier to just do LS VTEC but it would be way more low profile looking with a built LS head

good luck

because they wanted to, i guess. lets not start the "GSR vs. LS" thing again, that **** is as pointless as the "chicken or the egg" thing.

what the hell does that have to do with the OP's question?

How is this not possible if the head is built. And what the hell does the redline matter if youre not making power at 9k

everybody and there mom has ls/vtec, i'd say do something a little different and build the ls head with pnp, 3angle vj, crower 405's with valve train, blox/skunk2 IM, 68mm TB and a hondata IM gasket = happiness

vtec motors are better, hhhmmmmm i think you better keep on your morning pills before you crasy, lets talk about this:

ls motor=$400
gsr motor=$3500

now put that $3100 in the ls and have a good day......

oh and here is a little story, my DA LS with a b16 trans, ebay intake, stock exhaust....i have raced gsr's at the track and they had i,h,e and i have wasted them by two cars, so just because your valve cover says vtec doesnt mean its better
