have a DB1 with a B20b engine, OBD0. Stock 90 integra 5 speed transmission, I was wondering what trans is good for boost applications. Also I plan on putting 18's wheels on, and welding my differential. Does the B20b/z 5 speed tans have a lower final drive. I want to build a torque monster

T56, what does that come off of.. Ok OK let me give a little more insight, this trans will be a DD, so I want the lowest possible RPM's with th highest mph.. as of now(5th gear) 3K rpm= +/-65mph. If I want to cruise at 80mph, can I get my rpm's down to 3k(5th gear).

Ok OK more insight to my DD torque monster dream. Does any one know of Honda transmission guru. Basically I want more torque than horsepower, low fuel cut off (4200k) but all displacement, now my question. I have heard of transmission support links/cradles. For high torque/hp engines. Also, can you make a dog box, GT500 type manual transmission from a Honda B series trans. You know, only using the clutch to get in first, then it's push up(up shift), pull down(down shift) type of feel. Quicker shift with out using a torque converter. Any direction to go?

my homie, has a GSR engine from japan, with 17's.. it cruises at 80mph around 3700rpms. too high of a final drive I believe. I already have a LS transmission G, now. Stock Honda B series transmissions with a lower final gear that my current LS. YS1 I believe(cable).
