open ended=you can run a longer stud...
closed=what you have right now(most likely)

locking lug nuts do not make your wheels invinsible to theives. Guy on hondaswap said that someone stole his brand new wheels within the first month of owner ship. When he say his car, it was on blocks with the locking lugs in a bounch of little peices.

i bought the rays lugs for my TE-37s and they are pretty nice and lightweight..
on the expensive side, but i suppose it's good to get that one 7 sided lock nut on there
if a theif wants to steal, he/she will, this will just take a bit longer hehe

a, anytime you get a very popular lug like kyokugens, or Volks, that means alot of people have the key. Next, for 7 sided lugs, they are so ******* easy to get off, and you dont even have to be that handy to do it. Ever heard of the Gatorgrip?

Make sure you get lug nuts with seating surfaces whose shape matches that of your wheels. (The seating surface is the area where the two come in contact.) OEM Honda wheels and lug nuts have acorn (spherical/ball) shaped seating surfaces. Most aftermarket wheels and lug nuts have tapered (conical) shaped seating surfaces.
You can get locking lug nuts in either type of seating surface, too.

i don't use locks, cause i would rather have the thieves steal the rims, and not the car. if you make it hard for thives and they want it bad enough. they would just end up stealling your car.
btw i use kyokugens, never had a problem with them, been using it for 2 years now.
