Bad ground have some corrosion in batery terminal hard to start? Help..
Guys this is my problem, I am running a b series in my civic. I never had this problem before when my Dx motor was still in my civic.. On the (red) positive side of the batery connection terminal there is corrosion some white stuff and my (black) ground battery wire that hook right to the car seems like I am no getting enough ground, what should I do..sometimes after it rains and the battery is a little wet somewhat or moist I have a hard time starting it, all I have to do is charge the battery from another car it; starts. I have checked the ground battery wire and sometime it gets ground and sometime it doesn't any help would be appreciated.. does the corrosion have anything to do with it and I jsut replace my battery about 90 days ago when I did the swap..

The corrosion is always a problem....and yes...sometimes it could lead to the car not starting or it being hard to start. Its because the starter needs that good amount of juice in order for it to start your car. Corrosion will affect that. If it looks really bad, there's two things you can do. 1: clean it. I found two articles to help you out.

2: replace the batter if the battery charge is getting low and clean the cables out where they hook onto your battery.
Above all.....every now and then, keep checking on the terminals. Make sure they're clean!
