Default bad gas milage after new clutch?

I put in an exady clutch last month. it seems to drive ok, except there is a little more drive train noise. (may be it is just me)

for the first 2 tanks of gas, i drove really conservatively to break-in the clutch. how ever, I get aprox 10-15% less mileage per tank. and the car seems lose some of the grunts when i push the gas pedal. to me there seems to be more drive train loss tahn before the new clutch.

My question is why this would happen. the kit did not come with alinment tool, and i don't know what the mechanic did to line it up. could it be because the axels were moved and i need an alinment?

thanks

Your clutch will not affect gas mileage(unless it is slipping badly). I would look elsewhere. Try a tune-up. Check air in tires, and run some fuel cleaner stuff.

you have upset honda gods!!!
well, at least the god of readline, you have not visited him in a while so they have punished u by lowering gas milage and HP.
pay your dues to the gods of redline (to get rid of some of that carbon buildup)
and things will turn your way!

is it possible that the mechanic did a crappy job and not lube up the bearing?
and do i need a wheel alignment since the axels were moved?

I thought carbon build-up supposed to increase compression ratio and increase torque.

You do not need an alignment afterwards. The flywheel bearing and the TO are packed in grease. There is no lubrication needed.
