I have never heard of anyone stealing exhausts. But when I thought about it, who wouldn't steal a bolted on axel back? on my part for not getting it welded. But damn, I never even had any thought someone would steal it.

It was the very first day of college @ UC Riverside (9.28.03) and I was leaving to go to my best friend's appt. also a student here @ UCR (2nd year). I turn my car on and I hear a nasty *** rattling like sound. I assumed my N1 was up against my bumper & vibrating it for some reason. so i got out and went to the back of the car and to great suprise the muffler was gooone. In complete shock, I looked around (as if i was going to see anyone) and got back in the car and left.

Great way to be welcomed to Riverside & UCR. (as if i didn't hate riverside as it is)

Moral - don't be an idiot like me and buy an axel back and just have it bolted on & dont park in the 'over-flow' super un-attended & dark parking section (Lothian dorms) just b/c ppl said you should even though you know there's no point & there's room in the regular lot.

damn, that sucks. My cousin had a muffler welded on his car and they sawed it off! But look on the bright side, at least they didn't steal your car

That's foul, never heard of anyone doing that. Hopefully my car is too low for anyone to get any leverage under there. Did you fix the problem already? It says this happened a few weeks ago.

damn that really sucks. i have an apexi N1 also. never heard of this happening. im trying to sell my apexi due to my new exhaust. i'll sell it if you want it.
