Another Skunk2 IM Question!!
Hey guys, I know theres a ton on questions and info regarding skunk2 IM on a GSR. But I still have one uncertainty. Now, I have a 94 gsr motor and the Skunk2 IM has 2 coolant inlets on the bottom righthand side if you are looking at it from the back of the manifold. One is large, and one is small. Now the OEM intake manifold has the big coolant inlet that corresponds but there seems to be some confusion regarding the smaller inlet. From my research, many people seem to be saying that you must cap the smaller inlet with a hose and bolt.
BUT, since I have a obd1 gsr motor, the throttle body is equipped with the FITV (fast idle thermo valve). The FITV has a coolant port protruding from the bottom of the body, I currently have this connected to the smaller inlet on the Skunk2 IM. Am I fine with this hookup, or should I bypass the smaller coolant port and get also do a bypass on the FITV(its cold here so I would like to keep it). Let me know whatsup!
Thanks for the help again honda-tech!
