Probably a problem with your clutch/pressure plate. It could also be a bad master/slave cylinder. Any leaks in your cylinders or lines? That's just a start.

no problems with the slave cylinder. the pressure plate worked fine before i put the new clutch and flywheel in. i never had any problem with it before. i don't know how it would just stop working from setting around for 2 months

Why put a new clutch and flywheel in without changing the pressure plate? That COULD cause problems real fast. And check your master cylinder. A small leak will turn into a lot of lost pressure. How does your pedal feel? If it feels fine I'm guessing its something with the pressure plate.

the pressure plate was fine it just had alittle glaze on it so my local shop took that off i can't tell if i have any leaks but i couldn't tell that for sure. the peddle feels alright but maybe alittle soft still its been awhile since i pushed the clutch in like two months.
