Recently had my passenger window smashed, and glass flew everywhere. I know a good amount fell into my vents on my dash.

I remember driving my car afterwards with the ac on, and everything seemed fine, but when I switched the ac to windshield defrost, and back to the vents, I heard a little crackle [like broken glass was moving around] coming from inside the dash, and my center console vents didn't blow any air at all anymore after [heater doesn't work either], no matter what setting I put it on, but the side vents still work, searched and found no results..

Any idea? How would I clean the glass out if it happens to be that the glass is blocking?

Glass has gotten into the heater box and binding up the mode control "doors", unfortunately it means a dash and heater box pull to remove the glass. 94

from what i've read, a dash pull shouldn't be too hard [though i've never had to do it yet], and i'll look up the heater box via haynes.

wouldn't have been such a big deal if it was my side vents, but the center console ac vents are the most important ones. lol, well anyway thanks for the info.

Dash pulls on Honda/Acura is not so bad, hopefully you can access the inside of the heater box without removing it, if you have to remove the heater box you will have to recover the A/C refrigerant and recharge it after the reinstall. 94
