Re: ABS SRS light troubleshooting
Don't you need to reset the ABS light via the button under the driver's side dash panel (by your feet)?
Mine comes on from time to time and i reset the light by holding that button down until it goes off. Might come on every so often as just a service check light??

an actual abs scan tool can see if stored codes are present
if yours comes on from time to time you could have an intermittent problems. sensors will do this sometimes before they completely fail.
weirdest abs system i ever diagnosed with a mid 90s corvette that said it had a failed sensor. it didn't this stupid yaw sensor that the abs computer uses to calculate G load in breaking was on the fritz.
that said, abs codes are usually accurate but not always

Re: ABS SRS light troubleshooting
could be a connection. rusty, loose, corroded. that can do it too. actually, i've even seen filthy abs sensors do this. if you shoot them with brake clean and scrub gently with a brass brush when you're in there next it may cure your situation

Cool I will take a look.
As for the SRS light, those always annoy me and scanning first would definitely save you time and money in the long run, OP.
