Hi all,

1997 GSR. The ABS light never comes on first thing, if you restart the car after driving the ABS light comes on again. Let it sit for a bit and then restart and the light won't come back on.

When the light is on it doesn't turn off until the car sits for a while and then you start it again.

When you drive the car, the light never turns on. I do hear the pump run occasionally while driving for a second or two. When the car's started the pump only runs for a couple of seconds each time - on the first start the ABS light turns off, but on subsequent starts the ABS light doesn't turn off.

Does this sound like a bad accumulator? I tried replacing the o-ring, but no dice, the problem is unchanged. Any help appreciated.

DUDE my car has been doing the same thing for months! It's freaking annoying as hell. Hope you figure out something because I've got bigger problems right now (possible blown HG).

Check for air bubbles in your brakes! just bleed them and see if it goes away. worth a try

bad accumulator. my car has been making the buzzing sound for a few years. finally have a ABS light on for it now.

What I don't get is why my light is on sometimes, off other times. At times it almost seems like the light stays on every OTHER time I start the car. Like literally, I'll go somewhere without the light, come back out and start it, light stays on. Go to next stop, then come back out shortly and start it, light is off. It's crazy. I haven't been able to get an actual code from the light yet. It always just stays on steady with the MIL connector jumped.

Try checking for codes. Jump the ECU... I'm working on deleting my ABS now. My Legend did sorta the same thing. Bad sensor in the rear.
