Brake fluid isn't the cause, it might have been if the "BRAKE" light was on (E-brake). Do you know how to pull the ABS codes? Same way as the Check Engine light.

Re: ABS light on (shamoo)
I don't know how to pull the code away, but I had disconnected the battery and the ABS light gone for a day and then back on on the other day.

Re: ABS light on (pubestripe)
Yea what kinda teg... some of the 95 tegs are infamous about failing ABS equipment... It seems they implimented another version of the abs system in the later years, but if you got one when they started finding out / replacing... sucks... I just took out my bulb so it wouldn't be annoying..
oh and if you need to emergency stop, pump, don't slam
manaul abs for life.

Did you disconnect the battery?
If you did then check for a loose wire. A wire connects from the ABS to the battery and if it's disconnected, it'll cause an ABS light to come on.
