97 GSR Overheating while driving?
I have a 1997 integra gsr
when i got the car, while driving it was fine, no cooling issues at all. when I would come to a stop it would start to heat up, if I turn the AC fan only the AC fan would come on the other cooling fan never came on. I changed the thermostat and flushed the coolant. also while doing it I tested both motor on BOTH fans, they both came on.
Now, after putting everything back together I started the car up and it idles fine, didnt overheat. I started to drive up the road, got to like 20mph and immediatly the temp gauge started shooting up got it back to my house, and noticed neither fan was coming on at idle. If i turned the AC on, both fans would come on, and the temp gauge would start to go down. turn it off, both turn off and temp would go up again. Any ideas??

Re: 97 GSR Overheating while driving?
you have a temp sensor that is connected to the fan that will turn on at a certain temp. So I suggest you check that temp sensor because it could be dead. Also check your fuses just incase you have a bad fuse.
