91 Integra wont turn over
I took in a 91 integra on a trade recently and its a bit of a project. The car needed a distributor, and ignition switch when i got it. So I bought both of them and put them on the car. The car does try to turn over, when I turn the key the lights on dash come on and when I push the clutch in and try to start the car the lights dim down but the car doesnt even attempt to fire off. My dad said he can here the starter click when I try to start it but thats it. What could this be? Could it be the starter? Any help is appreciated.

How to do it (key OUT):
1) turn headlights on and wait 5 minutes;
2) turn lights off again and wait another 5 minutes;
3) check the voltage (DC) across the battery terminals.
If you find ANYTHING less than 12.65V, the battery may be discharged and unable to operate the starter.
Also check the battery terminals for corrosion, and the wire to the starter for corrosion.
Start with that, then post back here again for more.

also check chassis ground. the starter motor runs on a high current level. it needs a clear path to ground.
if the battery, cable, and ground check out good, try a bypass jump of the starter.

Ditto the above, poor batt. to chassis and chassis to engine grounds are a common problem on Honda/Acura.
Do not just eyeball them, remove/clean/reconnect, even if it is not the problem, it can't hurt to do them.
A bypass jump will tell you if the problem is before the starter or the starter/starter solenoid, this may help... https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...cm+bypass+jump 94
