i think Eibach Sportlines drop it round 1.7in, thats what i have, and the arent too low at all, but not high at all, they are perfect. So i think 1.7in is a good setup. Make sure to get a camber kit AND ALL THAT OTHER ****. when i removed my old rims and tires, my camber wear was so bad the threads cut my hand.

Going to have to disagree on that. He wont need a camber kit with a 1.7" drop. As long as the car is aligned properly (toe zeroed out) he wont need a camber kit. If you don't believe me, read this thread.

Re: is 1.7 inch drop too much?? help plzz (Shoobie)
i dropped mine about 2.25 in the front and 1.9 in the rear w/ omni's and i had no rubbing, had a lil camber thou but a lil toe adjustment helped that out.
i had some eibach sportlines before w/ was like a 1.8in drop or so and didnt need camber kit and it wasnt nearly low enough to rub anything
1.7in drop should be a clean job but no need for a camber kit, just go to the local tire shop and have them adjust the toe and ur camber probs should be good

People posting about camber like this simply irritate me...
If you just get your car aligned by a shop that CAN align lowered cars, with a good reputation for doing so, you will not need a camber kit and your tires will wear perfectly. With only a 1.7 in drop you'll be fine w/o expensive camber kits and the high cost of getting them adjusted. But do get a 4 wheel alignment within a week after installing them b/c I waited a week and my tires were already wearing like crap by a noticeable amount, just on the fronts though. To me a 1.7 in drop seems kind of weak. Since this is something that takes a lot of work to put together and the cost of getting an alignment, i'd be sure you want this drop before puting them on. Do a search for opinions on those springs and pix of cars with them installed to be sure you won't want to go lower as soon as you install them.

my tein's are like a 1.3 drop and it's beyond hell over speed bumps, though I haven't measured since they settled so it could be a bit more now, style wise it killed the gap with my stock 15's and looks great, speed bumps still scare me though.

you gotta go slow and at an angle buddy. running over a speed bump at 50mph will damage any car

Lol yea right.. I can barely get my foot under my car if I try to stick it under my driver side door. You just get to learn your roads better, which routes to take, and certain places to avoid. The best is when you find some curves and eat up that road and leave anyone else in your rear view trying to catch up!!!
If you have the money for springs get some performance shocks too
