Default Yonaka Intercoolers

12”x9”x2”: $140.00
18”x9”x2”: $160.00
18”x6”x2.5”: $160.00
22”x9”x3”: $180.00
26”x12”x3”: $235.00
26”x12”x4”: $315.00

Yonaka Intercoolers feature bar and plate cores in applications ranging from 225hp up to 1,000hp. We use only aluminum cast endtanks to give smooth flow characteristics. Plus, all our intercooler products come backed with a lifetime guarantee!

Test: We at CPRacing tested the Yonaka intercooler on a 94 Honda Civic

ITR intake manifold, TB, and cams
B16a head w/skunk2 springs and retainers
old JG Block B16A
Arias 9:1 pistons
Crower rods
Drag manifold
Tial wastegate w/1 bar spring
Profec A (turned off)
Turbonetics T3/T4E
RFL blowoff valve
old tube & fin Yonoka 24x12x3 intercooler
Custom IC piping (fuzzynutz)
Custom 3" downpipe (fuzzynutz)
880cc injectors
AEM fuel rail
stock FPR
255lph fuel pump
NOS wet kit w/35hp shot
3 bar mar
Hondata stage4

We used one of Yonaka’s older intercoolers which was a 24x12x3 which is suppose to be less efficient then the current intercoolers they have on the market now. The car was on 18psi (no nitrous) the car made 430hp we made four pulls on this car with about 10 minute breaks in between after the first pull the air inlet temps where at 75 after 4 pulls the air inlet temps where at 84.

Comparing it to another Shop car here

88 CRX

Full Race Stage 1
T3/T04E
10.1 compression
LS VTEC
GSR Cams
Probe Pistons
Eagle Rods
Manley Vale Springs
Manley Retainers
Manley Valves
Hondata S200
AEM Fuel Rail
880cc Injectors
255 Walbro Fuel Pump

This car had a PWR 22x11x3 back door intercooler on it this car was on 11psi made right around 300hp on the first pull we saw a inlet temp of 74 by the fourth pull we saw 94 inlet temps.

I know this is two different setups on two different cars but it shows you the Yonaka Intercoolers are just if not more efficient than other intercoolers on the Market we plan on tuning the CRX on high boost in the up coming weeks so I will let you all know what the higher boost levels do on the intercooler kits.

what are the power range for the intercooler and the average psi drop, like how much can the 26”x12”x3" intercooler handle and how much can the 26”x12”x4" intercooler handle.

I am a FIRM believer in the Yonaka intercoolers. I use their cuplers and clamps and intercoolers. I have used the intercoolers for 2 years now and in 3 different setups. Currently I have the largest model in my skyline and quality is next to none. I am very impressed and results have proven themselves over and over. I recently hit 264whp on my stock d-series turbo last summer and we tuned on a very very hot and humid day and the intercooler charges remained consistent throughout the day. Bump for a respectable product.
