my zc, the last pictures
Hey guys these are the last pictures i will take of my turbo dohc ZC in my engine bay. I am converting my civic into a NASA Honda Challenge race car (class H2) - so no more turbo zc. In will go a stock b16a and the whole car will be converted to a full race car. So right now the car is BACK on jack stands in my garage! haha
Anyways, after much work i finally got the dohc ZC running great! With a mix of 91 octane and 111 leaded octane race gas ($6 bucks a gallon!! ouch) ive been running 25psi - my guess is around 430whp i never took it to the dyno so i dont know for sure. But i made 386whp at 23psi with my old setup (smaller turbo) so a few more psi of boost and better parts im sure it was alot more. With a 5bar map sensor and 35psi of boost im sure this engine could make 550whp but it wont do it in my engine bay.
The car was super fast never the less, could light up the first 4 gears easily. Fantastic Fun! On that much boost i averaged about 7-8mpg driving the car fast!! haha Dont be scared though it still got 26-28mpg on the freeway..its just when you used the go pedal.
Im selling everything - so if you are interested in any parts lemme know.
setup:
75mm GE sleeved gen2 dohc ZC
9:1 Wisco pistons & Crower rods
hks metal headgasket & ARP head bolts
JG Pro-series head
JG cams
JG intake manifold
gt3082r turbo
afi ramhorn manifold
tial WG & BOV
880cc injectors & Neptune RTP ecu
hydro zc tranny with Cusco LSD & equal length axles
JUN flywheel & ACT xtr6 clutch
I've started to remove the interior - gave my del Sol seats to my buddy so im rocking one stocker now. haha

hehe yeah i spilled a little oil on the valve cover changing the oil last. Either way form over fashion and yes its just a normal d-series sohc manifold.
