We have sold quite a few. They are a good turbo for the price, and from what I've seen make about 325-350 on 15psi. They also come with a 1 year warranty.

Assuming your setup will support it yes it can do it. It's rated for 545 crank hp
BUT are there better turbos to choose from yes. Talk to The Shodan he will be able to give you 50 options. I have this same turbo and I'm going for 400whp also when I retune. I'll let you know if I make it or not. I'm planning on upgrading to the sc61.

If you want 400whp, and want to stay in that price range. I would go with the Garrett 60-1 or Precision 6076

Will both of those fit under the hood and still allow me to retain the AC and Power steering? here is the manifold I already have.

They are dimensionally bigger, the Garret has a 4" inlet, the Precision has a 3" inlet

400 at the wheels is dangerous on a stock gsr. safer on e85 but you're really pushing reliability looking out over time. i mean people do it, it's just a question of how long you'll live before a rod breaks or you spin a bearing

400 should be easy with the 3431E. Im pushing over 300whp at 10psi with this turbo.

myles did with either this or one damn near like it. turbo maxed out at 444whp on a stock gsr bottom end.

the only thing i'm wondering is with the manifold. generally if you're going after max power a ramhorn will beat down that cast manifold. but...that's not a bad looking cast piece. it's an inline pro copy of some sort, just depends on how it will flow.

I'm not going for max drag race power more like mid-to top power. Basically i want to be able to put it to most street cars. Something thats quick but wont fall on its face on the fwy.

A good name brand journal bearing turbo in used condition is going to run $300-600 depending on what it is. Yes sometimes you can stumble on a great deal but not a 35R for $300

a real gt35r in a to4e case that actually fits your application would run, what, $1500 or so? if you really have your heart set on 400+whp pony up $850 for a precision 6262 which also uses the t04e case and allows you to get the much needed 5 bolt exhaust flange. or, if you want to go straight bad *** you could do that gt35r.

it's just that you're talking about two pretty bad *** turbos and a $100 manifold that's not really optimal for them.
