What size allen are the freeze plugs?
My sleeved block i received didn't come back with all the freeze plugs back in and i have a junk b18c1 block and take the plugs from there and swap them on my new one. Any idea what size that allen head is? it's pretty damn big...also what do you use to seal that plug up? would black rtv be ok?

Those block plugs use aluminum crush washers. You shouldn't need to Hondabond or silicone it. If you need new crush washers (28mm), order the ones from an old '88 to '91 Prelude: 12207-634-300. You might also be able to use the 28mm crush washer from the cylinder block's coolant plug on the EX side of the block (19041-PR4-000 I believe).

a 9/16ths is a little larger and will work if you have the room, i didnt have a 14mm but had a 9/16ths, and with the intake off, you could tap the socket in.

if you dont feel like spending money on the 14mm hex key or socket
get a 14mm old headbolt or a regular long bolt
stick the head into the fitting and use a pipe wrench to tighten the fitting in

I just hate cleaning up the sealant that's glued to everything when I have to strip and prep a used head or block for cleaning to get it ready for machine work. Different strokes for different folks.
