What to look for in used Vtec head for turbo build?
About to go look at buying a local GSR head with cams and curious what I should keep an eye out for. I plan to look for the P27 and hairline cracks along with valve face damage if there is any. Anything else?

DO IT ON ALL FOURS
Re: What to look for in used Vtec head for turbo build?
You mean P72 I hope? There isn't exactly anything special really, just the normal stuff you would look at with ANY head you would buy. Are any of the threads stripped? Cracks in the head? Missing parts? Damage or gouges? Does it pass the straight edge test? Any meat left on the service life indicators? Do valves move? Visual damage to springs, retainers, or seats? Also depends on if it's assembled or not. If not check a valve in a guide for wobble. It also depends on what you plan on doing to the head after you get it as well. Just typical normal stuff like that (there is more obviously but you get the idea).
