ok, this is probably a retarded question to all you die-hard turbo guys, but ive been hearing alot about runnin a dump-tube into your downpipe? does this just help the turbo spool? or does it make the spool louder? and if so, why? im not understanding the method behind this madness.. can someone explain?

The reason most will route it into the downpipe is to reduce noise. Possibly also to keep things cleaner. If it is routed in it should be downstream of the turbo and not right next to the outlet. Whether power will be lost or not depends on the setup.

now are you talkin noise from the wastegate here? or am i just having a moment here? lol.. i didnt think wastegates made noise? just got a tial 38mm with a open dump tube.. is that gonna make noise? hope it doesnt sound like a queef? but anyways.. no spool differance? and to quiet the w/g? do w/g sound shitty? sorry for the dumb questions man, i just wanna figure this out.. thanks for the help

Yes the wastegate makes A LOT of noise Running into your downpipe keeps it quiet/sleeper if that's what you're going for. Open dump is a fine sound as your screeming by someone though

well shittin a'... thats tight.. what does it sound like? lmao, try to spell it.. hahahah sorry man, i just need help.. is it like a woo wooo woo? kinda like the lower sound on a hks ssqv? cause i got one of those with this custom kit i just bought, it sounded crazy, had a wooo wowo oowooo at lower boost, then a sharp wsspppp, i dunno if you ever heard on, but is that close to the sound? at lower boost i mean? or am i hittin the wrong bong? at all speeds? or just at full boost?

Ever had a hole in your exhaust?? That's about what an open wastegate sound like. But it only makes that sound when you reach full boost. Oh, and put down the bong.

basically what you can imagine is an 1" diameter hole in your exhuast system that only happens when you're in full boost.
